Christ-Centered Learning Programs
Pre-School
Moreno Valley Preschool Education
Valley Christian Academy offers a developmentally appropriate program for children ages 3 - 5 years old. We help to meet the needs of the children spiritually, mentally, and socially. Our program lays a path for continued spiritual growth. The children are taught daily Bible lessons, memorize Bible verses, and attend a weekly chapel service. Academically, children learn phonics, math, and science through learning centers and direct instruction.
A Foundation of Faith and Learning
We are passionate about integrating Biblical truths into every aspect of our early childhood curriculum. Through daily Bible stories, worship songs, scripture memorization, and prayer, children not only learn about God's love—they experience it firsthand through their teachers and classroom community. Our desire is to cultivate hearts that love Jesus and others.
A Safe and Caring Environment
Your child’s safety and well-being are our top priorities. Our classrooms are designed to be welcoming, age-appropriate, and secure. We maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio so that each child receives the attention, encouragement, and guidance they need to thrive. Our staff members are experienced, CPR-certified, and dedicated to providing a positive first school experience.
Academics
Our Pre-K program is designed to help your child become developmentally, academically, and socially ready for Kindergarten. Our program introduces the alphabet, phonics, reading readiness, counting, Bible verses, rhymes and songs. Socialization skills, independence, self-esteem, motor skills, and arts and crafts are also part of the program. The program also offers beginning phonics as part of the ABEKA curriculum.
Schedule
VCA offers multiple schedule options for our Pre-Kindergarten students.
Five days per week (Monday – Friday)
Three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)
Two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday)
Families may choose between either a Full Day (8:30 AM – 3 PM) or a Half Day ( 8:30 AM – 12 PM).

Centers
Pre-kindergarten students have the opportunity to participate in multiple centers to foster social and academic development. Children grow in the experience of Art, Dramatic Play, Math, Manipulatives, and Language Development.
Events
The following are a few examples of the events we have annually.
Pumpkin Patch
Harvest is a time rich with significance for us here at VCA. With Thanksgiving, we take the opportunity to celebrate all that God has blessed us with. Each child celebrates with their own pumpkin and crafts along with story time from our local “farmer” (usually this is our own Pastor Martin Saine in overalls).
Trik-A-Thon
For thirty years we have raised money for St. Jude’s children’s hospital through the Trik-A-Thon. Children ride around our track and in the process learn to do charity work as an outreach service for the Lord.
Spring Program
At VCA, we are excited about teaching the Message of Jesus Christ to everyone. In the spirit of spreading the Gospel, students partake in song and performing arts each spring.

Valley Christian Academy is a licensed preschool through the state of California. We are licensed to serve 3 and 4 year-old children Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Elementary
The elementary program emphasizes academic skill development and spiritual growth through a relationship with Jesus. A well rounded program is taught including Bible, Math, Language Arts, History, Science, P.E. and Art. Learning is enhanced through projects and field trips.
Academics
Valley Christian Academy strives for superior standards. We believe that we have an obligation to foster high standards in academics and personal conduct. It is our belief that, by fostering these standards our students will be better prepared for life.
Our curriculum is accelerated and emphasizes the fundamentals. It offers not only clearly defined courses in Christian truths, but it also integrates the Christian faith throughout the entire curriculum so that every subject, attitude, and intent becomes alive with spiritual meaning.
Middle School
Daily Christian living is encouraged as the students continue to mature in their relationship with God. Coursework for academic development includes Bible, Math, English, Literature, History, Science, Sign Language, P.E. and Art. Middle School students also complete projects and attend field trips to enhance their learning experience.

Community Service
For over 20 years, Middle School students at VCA have blessed the community through service. They have donated over 8,000 community service hours. Each Middle School student completes 20 hours of community service per year.
Daycare / After-care
Before & after school care is available from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM for ages 5 to 12. Students will have the opportunity to do homework, Arts & Crafts, indoor and outdoor play. A snack is provided each afternoon.
Services
We offer before and after school care from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Children are cared for in a fun, casual environment. They play games, read books, do crafts, and use building blolcks. Children participate in Homework Club. Afternoon snacks are provided daily.
During school holidays and summer, children may come all day and enjoy the daycare program with special themed activities and snacks.
Centers
Our daycare facility is stocked with all manner of educational based recreational activity for tactile, auditory, and visual learning. While there are plenty of right brained activities such as building blocks, and art/craft supplies, participants have a wide variety of left brained activities to choose from such as (but not limited to) board games along with jigsaw and logic puzzles.
